Some excellent sites and resources for kids
Free picture books for children
This is a fabulous site for children who like stories and reading. Their library includes over 40,000 free picture books and you can select by age.
Songs, Stories and Games
LearnEnglish Kids by the British Council has lots of free online games, songs, stories and activities for children.
Free primary eBooks
This eBook library has been created to help children aged 3–11 to develop their reading skills at home. You’ll find books from Oxford’s most popular primary school titles.

English Singsing is the channel where children can view various videos such as Fairytales, Nursery Rhymes, Dialogues, Songs, Chants, Stories, Phonics and more!

BBC channel for young children
CBeebies is the UK's most watched and most loved channel for the under-sixes.
Apps for children learning English
Bibo Speak English - Vocabulary
This app offers engaging, visually interactive lessons about different topics. It is very easy for even preschoolers and the words are pronounced with a variety of English accents.
Study Cat
The Study Cat app also offer pronunciation exercises that encourage and help kids to practice their speaking skills. Lessons are themed, which also feature original music and entertaining animations. There’s a 30-day free trial but after that it will cost $14.99/month.
Teach your Monster to Read
Children learn phonics and reading English through play, as they create cute, little monsters that go through magical games. The website offers some free games and the apps can be purchased for a small one time fee.
Lingokids - Inglés Para Niños
Una experiencia de aprendizaje temprano para niños y niñas de 2 a 8 años que se centra en habilidades lingüísticas del inglés, como la pronunciación, el vocabulario, el alfabeto, la escritura. El contenido ha sido desarrollado por expertos en educación y aprobado por Oxford University Press.
British Council LearnEnglish Kids
La aplicación desarrollada por el British Council ofrece diez conocidos cuentos animados en lengua inglesa. Además de escuchar la voz del narrador y los personajes, los niños con capacidad lectora pueden seguir las historias mediante subtítulos. En esta aplicación encontrarás cuentos como Ricitos de Oro y los tres osos, Jack y las habichuelas mágicas o Caperucita Roja. Incluye una guía para padres con información sobre cómo ayudar a tu hijo a aprender inglés. Para niños de 5 a 10 años.
Duolingo
Esta reconocida app para aprender idiomas puede ayudar a nuestros hijos con el inglés. Los únicos requisitos para que lo puedan utilizar es que sepan leer y escribir. Además, permite a cada niño aprender a su ritmo y, gracias a la interacción, podrán seguir trabajando con ella diariamente. En esta caso el nivel no importa, ya que la app se adapta a los conocimientos que tengamos. Recomendada para niños mayores de 4 años.
Aprende Inglés Jugando
A través de este juego educativo tus hijos desarrollarán la mente, las habilidades espaciales, la autoestima, la sagacidad y la memoria. Conocerán un vocabulario básico de más de 1000 palabras de una manera totalmente divertida. En ella, los niños entre 3 y 15 años podrán escuchar una palabra en inglés y asóciala a su imagen correspondiente y navegar por el mapa completando los distintos juegos.
